Digging one of the last days of summer ...

...not really.  It's always summer here.  Besides, school doesn't start for 10 more days.  Took kids to secret beach.  Wasn't such a secret today.  Kiddo's didn't want to leave...

Got haircuts today...

...and when it was all over, Josh looked like he needed a haircut.

Proud of the little dude.  Took to the junior guards like a fish out of water.  Barely kvetched at all.  All he needs is the white stuff on his nose!

Taking it slow in SLO

While avoiding the vomituous canines, we met Steph's work friends for dinner at our usual haunt, Michelangelo's. But instead of the clams, we had crab stuffed cannollis. Desert at humphrey slocombes for secret breakfast ice cream: bourbon and cornflakes. Breakfast at sears and then cakos. Stops in Gilroy and Paso Robles and Pismo. Now chillin pool/oceanside in san luis obispo. Ahhhhhhh.

Drove up to San Frandisco with the wifey. Stumbled across a great diner for breakfast. Had maple bacon donuts at Dynamo. Pilgrimage to Yoda in the Presidio. Toured the innards of Pac Bell ballpark. Lunching in Chinatown. Yum.

My day so far....

• after finally putting together a good run at work, my 8 day winning streak has been snapped...
• had to get new breaks in my car because the rotors are warped.  Yeah, that's what's warped...
• began the girl child on the path towards braces.  Ouch$
• on the way to pickup car with fresh breaks, got a speeding ticket...again!!!
• lost my credit card
