Today we celebrate labor day. Commemorating all the Mom's that went into labor in order to deliver their offspring. But why just celebrated the Mom's. I did a lot of the work (holding up my wife's head and legs) and taking most of the abuse (without any of the benefit of the pain medicine). No wait...this can't be right.
Today we celebrate labour day, commemorating the central-left U.K. political party. No wait...
Today we celebrate the small Slovenian village of Labor. No...
Actually, we celebrate the American worker. Of which I am one again. And boy have I been working...60+ hour weeks. But it has been enjoyable, stressful, but enjoyable. And hopefully soon, fruitful. Cause I like fruit.
But really, today marks the unofficial end of summer. The summer of Josh and Jill and unlimited freedom (and Minecraft and Animal Jam). They spent quality time with their friends and grandparents and even Neil Diamond (talk about a man who continues to labor...he rocked Anaheim). Junior Guards and Camp James.
But thank the lords of Parliament that school starts up again this week...or it would be off to Labor, Slovenia with the both of them.
