Just another day in paradise
California - the action state. Motto: all action, all the time (said in a Schwartzenegger accent). Today we had hail, flash floods, mudslides, tornados, waterspouts, serious surf, and gusty winds. Did I mentioned that it rained. Gotta get going on that ark. UPDATE: We also had an earthquake. More of the same expected for today.
Also, got rejected by Chase today. At least they had the courtesy to call. Thanks. Decided to go with someone else. Thanks for nothing.
Off to the little league baseball draft. To draft Josh or not?

Down Mexico way
Went on vacation today. Because I can. Went to Mexico. Because I can. Well, not really but we could, if we had a death wish. Had breakfast in old town San Diego this morning and it sure felt like we were in Mexico. Coyote cafe. Hand rolled tortillas. Cha cha cha music. Chips. mmm. Old Town was totally quaint. Can't believe we had never spent time here during our San Diego stays.
And we drove down the coast which was awesome due to the extraordinarily high surf and tide conditions. Drove through Cardiff by the Sea, Del Mar, Torrey Pines - Wicked cool. Can't wait to explore some of these towns and beaches more.
